You can send and receive private messages from members of the RedOnion community. The messages system displays your name and photo next to your message, so before you can use it you need to check your name on RedOnion.
Send private messages
1, Go to the post of the person you want to contact. You can do this by clicking the person's name.
2, Click the About message icon.
3, Type in your private message and click Send.
Note: If a channel doesn't have a confirmed name on RedOnion, it won't be able to receive private messages and you won't see the "Send message" button on the channel.
Read private messages
To read private messages that you've received on RedOnion, go to your landing page. You can get there by clicking your Message icon in the top right > click new Messages from top.
